There are 2 very different kinds of Blackjack card games in the world. The British version of Blackjack is also called Crazy Eights, and its objective is to be the first player to discard of all his “hand”. The Casino version of Blackjack is the more popular version. This Blackjack variation comes from the old French game Vingt-en-un (Twenty-one). The object of the game is to be the first player to have a hand value worth 21 points.
As a rule, all cards in the deck numbered 2 to 10 are worth their face values. Aces are worth either 1 or 11 points, while the face cards (King, Queen, and Jack) are worth 10 points each.
